The combination of a warm, enveloping fragrance with the cold darkness of a dark room creates an interesting contrast between the outer and inner worlds, symbolising the
refuge where one immerses oneself in one's own sensations and thoughts, attracted by the allure of mystery and the idea of absolute freedom.
Rhubarb presents itself with its acidic and vibrant freshness, capable of stimulating and awakening the senses; combined with Marijuana, which carries with it an aura of freedom and
rebellion, it evokes
bohemian atmospheres and moments of relaxation.
At the heart of the creation, Tobacco stands out for its depth and richness.
Birch, with its woody freshness, adds a touch of refinement.
The fusion of Vetiver, Cypriol and Musks is a burst of wild energy, while Incense adds a spiritual dimension, evoking atmospheres of meditation and deep reflection.
Finally,
Cedarwood completes the composition with its warm elegance.
The first globally recognised Vetiver-based perfume was ‘Vetiver’ by Carven, launched in 1957 and created by perfumer Edouard Hache.
Subsequently, other perfumery houses created their own interpretations of Vetiver, including Guerlain's ‘Vétiver’, launched in 1961.
