MANSFIELD

Its origins go back to the heart of Naples, where it was founded in 1997 by the Scalella family.
The aim is to communicate with passion and enthusiasm the experiences and knowledge of selective perfumery channel assimilated in time by Vittorio Scalella before and his son Massimo after.
The desire to emphasize and offer to the world its own roots and the creativity typical of its Neapolitan origins, links Mansfield to some of the excellences of Made in Italy developing with them
partnerships and becoming licensees and producers.
Massimo Scalella takes on the most fascinating and significant challenge, identifying exclusive, elegant and quality proposals.
A process that sees over time the introduction in the Italian market of some of the most wanted and exclusive international brands of artistic perfumery.

Thus was born Mansfield, a name of Anglo-Saxon origin but with a Neapolitan soul. Massimo Scalella, assisted by his sister Simona and his father Vittorio, begins his research based on knowledge, travels, meetings with craftsmen and Companies that have one common denominator: Passion, Culture, Skills.
Creations, development, harmonies: fragrances dedicated to all those who really aspire to recognize and rediscover olfactory emotions hold in their own memory.
Massimo Scalella, meanwhile, contributes to the knowledge and success of other brands in Italy: Costes Fragrances, The Different Company, Colette Parfums, Profumi della Costiera Amalfitana, Brooks Brothers Parfums, up to the privilege of being able to honor one of the most representative characters of our '900, Prince Antonio de Curtis in art Totò, recreating the original fragrance worn by him.

From the encounter with Maurizio Marinella comes the line of fragrances E.Marinella that from Naples, cradle of Mediterranean culture, arrives everywhere; international destination for a project Made in Italy.

ANTONIO DE CURTIS

Mansfield, in cooperation with the de Curtis family, reworks and presents the historical essence owned and worn by one of the most representative characters of the twentieth century. An olfactory journey into the most intimate memory of this famous man.

"Mansfield was founded in 1995 with the aim of offering and bringing to life emotions through olfactory creations that awoke sensations perceived by each of us, sometimes drowsy, and that a perfume can evoke.

The careful research for valuable and exclusive raw materials, the great harmony in the interweaving of them through the patient and traditional work of our essential manufacturers: artisans who today, still as before, create and distill materials from different sources and with expertise and experience make a perfume defined and consistent with the desire to immerse someone in a dream.

Real niche fragrances, producted for a distribution with an artisan character : little for few, far from the basic concepts of business reaching only numbers, or from purely industrial typologies, where personalities and souls are not contemplated.

The pleasure of looking for those who still, with their own hands , assemble a box or skilfully mix drops of extracts, using mainly that experience that only time and work could allow.

Through its perfumes Mansfield represent the great Neapolitan culture and spirit; Naples, its colours, its liveliness , its imagination, its interweaving of cultures, cradle of the Mediterranean , are inspiration to realize every creation.

International Companies and Italian Excellences wanted to join their name to Mansfield: E. Marinella , icon of the tie , Pininfarina design genius , until touching with due respect, a Prince of our '900 Antonio de Curtis in art Totò, when Mansfield had the opportunity to recreate the perfume he wore.

Massimo Scalella felt the need to transfer his passion in Mansfield parfumes, producing its own line of fragrances.

Sensuality, character , heart , personality , essential elements for the creation of an evocative and all-round perfume.

ACQUA DI PORTO CERVO

The Costa Smeralda is a strip of land in the north-eastern part of Sardinia. It is with the early '60s that this enchanting place, with clear waters and bright yellow beaches, becomes an icon of luxury and a well-established lifestyle that, year after year , hosts the most famous personalities belonging to the international jet set. A myth was born. Exclusive paradise of this area is Porto Cervo, enchanting tourist town, coveted and recognized by an exclusive elite especially for luxury parties and worldliness.

GRAVEL

Michael B. Knudsen is the creator of GRAVEL New York, a brand that since its foundation in 1957 has seen trends come and go, but has always remained true to itself.

Fragrances that, like the gravel stones in every bottle, withstand the test of time.

When Knudsen, after completing the first fragrance in 1957, wanted to give the first three bottles of the yet-to-be-marketed perfume to a publisher at NBC, a myth quickly built around the Gravel fragrances and led to numerous media mentions.

We can consider Gravel the promoter of the fragrance boom in the United States in the '60s.
